I' ve rediscovered why i hate my boss so much: sexist pig!! I hate my job!

I wonder sometimes if there isn't something totally wrong with me. Could it be caused by the fact that i still live with my parents and need a way out or is it because these voices in my head keep telling me to shut up so they can be heard. I'm afraid if i do shut up, i won't like what i hear... 

 Today, as you probably already know, is November the first. Today is when I can begin to write my story for nanowrimo. So far, all i have are a few ideas and a few pieces of inspiration. I actually have a first paragraph, which is odd for me. Normally, the very beginning of a story is hard for me to be put out on paper. After all, it is the most important part of the story; it's the part that makes people put the thing down or to keep on reading. Anyways, my first para is written and i have the entire story in my head.

The hardest part: getting it down on paper (or screen, whichever)

It would be so much easier if I could just go and do an erotic piece. But, since this is a big thing for me--its the longest story i've ever written--i want to do something a little more challenging. In a nutshell, the genre is fantasy/romance with a ton of saddness and sex (what a mixture, huh?)

I've not written any today but did a ton last night (early this morning if you're the politically correct type). So far I'm at 3,000 something words. Not bad, huh? Well, yeah, considering my "personal" erotic story is 11,000 and I've only worked on it for a day or two.

Of course I HAD to work today, my favorite day holiday of the year. I don't celebrate Christmas so I don't understand why I get to be off then and not today. I'm glad I worked the day shift today, though. 

This time of the year the air is magical and crisp, and the dead sing us a song of reincarnation. Trick or treaters, scary stories told in the dark, dressing up, honoring the dead...so many things make this day special.
